Description

This cap is for Saab Shelby wheels and 99 Turbo Inca wheels. Note that PLA isn't going to hold up to summer heat, especially when painted black. The bore size is about 2.5 inches, but powder coat thickness can vary significantly in this area of the wheel. Print a test piece and figure out what scale value is required for a good fit on your wheels. The range should be 97% scale to 103% scale. Print with supports turned on, you only need them for the bottom-facing lip. The ceiling in the middle should bridge fine, so make sure you have 'support bridges' turned off. I used a support angle of 10 degrees in slic3r so I was only getting that lip supported. Note: You can print it either way up, depending on your preference. It is optimized for both print directions, but will require support in either direction.
