SHIFT SURROUND for BMW 2002 TII
Shared by
Michael ChenDescription
BMW 2002 SHIFT SURROUND LONG CONSOLE- This is the shift surround for a BMW e10 2002 long console. Works with OEM parts and with my triple gauge/radio panel. You will need to glue the sections together and finish the console by lots of sanding and filling. I find that Crazy glue works extremely well and high fill automotive primer. I finished the part off with SEM textured paint and then a coat of SEM Landau Black interior paint. You will need #8 "U" speed nut clips and corresponding 1" #8 sheet metal screws to screw it into the console sides. Part is very robust by just using a 10% infill and 4 layers. OEM parts are NLA and the few remaining are going for upwards of $400, so this is a great alternative. Enjoy the surround and please follow up with a comment and pictures. And as always, feel free to use the files personally but please do not use them for commercial ventures.
