Description

This is the bracket or bezel which holds the push button switch in the front door jam of SN95 model Ford Mustangs (I would not be surprised if other Ford cars of the same era used the same part). I built this to replace a broken one on my 1995 Mustang. There are two files. One is as close as a replica to the original part as I could draw. Printing in PLA however, the clips would break off too easily and not hold the piece in place properly. If you would like to print it in some other material, let me know how it works out. The second is slightly redesigned, and I intended for it to be a twist lock, however when I tested, it popped into place and held the button good enough to do it's job to my satisfaction. The internal thread is 1/2-in by 20tpi. I ran a tap through it to clean things up a bit before installing the switch.
