Subaru Forester Shift Knob
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Based on idea of two piece shift knob of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1488711 Uses 3 M6x20 screws, that cut directly into holes of bottom part. Bottom screws directly on shifter shaft. Subaru forester with manual transmission uses M12x1.25 thread. Such locking nut can be placed inside the bottom part. (I didn't use one). I used PLA. But be aware that temperature inside cabin can be well above 50°C, when PLA starts to soften and deform. Therefore, PLA is not the best choice for part, like a shifting knob. Give a shot PETG/ASA, or good ol' ABS.
