Description

BMW Toolkit screwdriver. I designed this for E90 toolkit, as they stopped supplying these in the trunk after E46's. I spent ~$10 for a Phillips/flathead screwdriver from an online OEM supplier. This vehicle uses solely Torx fasteners, so a Phillips/flathead does me no good. This design allows you to use an off the shelf 2" long 1/4" bit extender. Then you can add whatever bit you'd like. Such as any size Torx bit, any size Phillips, or a flathead. It doesn't quite fit in the toolkit, some trimming would be required as the extender is thicker than the stock neck. However it will fit nicely, and the trimming is easy. The extender is a friction fit, but using an 0.2[mm] nozzle, it is TIGHT. It is also worth noting that this screwdriver has a 10mm box wrench on the bottom, and an 8mm box wrench on the top, but you have to remove the extender to use that one. Replaces BMW PN 71111179629 Should fit E30, E46, E90, and many more. The long Phillips bit is one I had lying around. Use a shorter one.
