Description

These holders attach using the existing trim screws in the tailgate of a 3rd gen Tacoma. The base fits flush when tightened, and the screw head is recessed. I built them for trekking poles with a diameter of 18 mm. There are two versions of clamps, allowing for different gaps between the poles, 12 and 17 mm. The clamp part slides tightly into the base, but is not so tight that it can't be removed when not in use. 40% or more infill is recommended for stiffness. PETG is a better than PLA in this case, it is less brittle and stronger. The larger hole in the base faces down on the print bed, support is needed beneath that hole. The angled end should print ok without support.
