Description

NOTICE: Make sure your seat belt system is working well, before driving. If you find this part binding or otherwise affecting the movement and operation of the latch mechanism, there is something wrong and problem should be fixed before driving. My 1993 Volvo 850 had same cosmetic issue as many other's from same era: Seat belt release button was discolored, worn out and it had a hole in it. Same part is used at least in some Volvo 740, 850, 940 and 960, probably in some other models as well. I found thing called "1995 Volvo 850 seatbelt release button" by ksihota. In my case it did look good, but didn't work so well. It had couple of small differences when compared to dimensions of original part from my car. Differences were small, but it was enough to make the part to not stay in it's place. I took the worn out part from the car and replicated it in Fusion 360, reinforcing the center part, which was also done in ksihota's design. Car's interior can get quite hot during sunny summer days. PLA can get soft and wrap, PETG could be better option?
