Description

I never really liked the "hook" in the trunk of the BMW X1. I'm used to having a hook to secure bags in my trunk, but the BMW X1 has a very bad hook in the trunk. So logically... I made my own! Best to print using strong material and with a decent infill %. I've used ABS with 80% infill. Also, make sure the material you use can handle heat as well. Parking your car in the sun can get toasty! There's no good printing orientation that allows you to print without supports. I've printed them top side down with supports for the hooks. Worked great on the Prusa MK3S. Just print it, pop it off the plate & throw it over that sad excuse of a hook:) I iterated over several designs to find one that fits on the existing hook without being stuck or being too loose. This design seems to work best for me to be able to quickly remove/place the hooks, without them falling off on their own or when grabbing a bag that was hooked to it.
