Description

Designed this shift linkage insert for my 1997 986 Boxster (5-speed). As the original part is no longer available from Porsche a complete new set of shifter cables and upgraded linkage assembly would be required at a cost of more than 1000 euros. These inserts printed in PETG or ABS (PLA will melt near the exhaust) are still being road tested but initial results are positive. Printing: No supports, 40% infill and 2mm wall thickness works well on Ender 6.
