Description

This is a throttle/cruise control cable clip for a 2001 Chevy S-10 with the 4.3L Vortec V6. The original clip degraded and broke allowing unwanted movement and rubbing on the cables. This is a 2 piece part that snaps together over the metal ferrule and then clips in to a plate over the engine to keep the cables from moving. Both the throttle and cruise control cables use the same clip....just oriented backwards (there is a tab on the clip that matches the notches on the cable plate). I used PETG as it is a good flexible and heat worthy material. I first tried PLA and the clip "wings" that flex during installation into the plate would break off. The PETG clips do not break and hold the cables in place very well (so far it's only been a few weeks of testing). Print at.2, 100% infill, no supports and print at a slower speed - I use 30mm/s. Hope this can help and let me know how it works for you!
