Description

I will be amazed if anyone who still has a first gen Mazda 6 also has a 3D printer and actually wants this, but I figured I'd post it for posterity if nothing else. The impetus for designing this was that my yeti-style vacuum koozie wouldn't fit in the original OEM cup holder. The tray around the outside at the bottom is for mounting an LED strip. I printed a few mm in clear to make a lit up perimeter. I no longer have the car (it was a 2006 - the only model that I know this fits), but I made this a while back and used it for a few months before selling the car. I printed with some type of PLA+, I think it was Makergeeks Raptor, but perhaps esun. It worked great until the dead of summer, when it unsurprisingly shrank enough that it took a little force to get my drink in and out. Obviously ABS or another heat-tolerant material would be best.
