Description

Parrot MKi9200 Twizy Screen Enclosure ## Overview This project provides a Parrot MKi9200 screen enclosure for mounting the LCD display in the Renault Twizy. The LCD is removable, but the original mount is flimsy and easily broken. This mount makes the display more perminant and provides better protection along with a more study mounting surface. This project is open-source. You can find the OpenSCAD source here: https://github.com/simoninns/Parrot-MKi9200-Twizy-Screen-Enclosure The OpenSCAD source also includes a mock-up of the actual display to make modification to the design easier. ## Printing instructions The model has been printed and tested on the Prusa MK3S/MMU2S printer using Prusament PETG filament. All parts fit on a 20x20 printing bed. ### Recommended print settings Print settings (for Prusa Slicer) are the same for all included parts: * Material: PETG * Layer: 0.30mm * Infill: 25% * Supports: No Supports # Assembly Connect the display the cable bracket and run the cable up the bracket towards the top of the LCD. Insert the display and bracket into the lower case part; it should push in firmly. Route the cable out of the back of the lower holder and push the upper case down onto the display. The two tabs at the back will lock into place holding the two case parts firmly together. Apply some double-sided foam mirror tape to the case and affix to the Renault Twizy. See the included pictures for the suggested mounting location. ## Author This project is designed and maintained by Simon Inns. # Licensing ## OpenSCAD source files - software license (GPLv3) This is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
