Description

Renault Twizy Speaker Mounts ## Overview This project provides a set of speaker mounts for the Renault Twizy. The mounts are designed to fit 4 inch Pioneer TS-G1020F speakers and are mounted in the original bracket position in the roof of the car. This project is open-source. You can find the OpenSCAD source here: https://github.com/simoninns/renault-twizy-speaker-mounts ## Printing instructions The model has been printed and tested on the Prusa MK3S/MMU2S printer using Prusament PETG filament. All parts fit on a 20x20 printing bed. ### Recommended print settings Print settings (for Prusa Slicer) are the same for all included parts: * Material: PETG * Layer: 0.30mm * Infill: 25% * Supports: No Supports # Assembly Since the bracket will need to withstand vibration, ensure that you use either nylon lock-nuts or thread-lock for all screws. The clips are attached to the bracket using M3x16mm screws. The speaker is attached using 4xM4 screws. The screw-heads should be on the underside of the bracket. See the included pictures for more details. Note that the screw-clip has a different orientation on the left and right brackets. ## Author This project is designed and maintained by Simon Inns. # Licensing ## OpenSCAD source files - software license (GPLv3) This is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
