Description

If you regularly carry passengers in your Zoe's back seats you may have found a really annoying design flaw where if the third seat belt buckle is clipped onto the designated socket, your passengers will not be able to fully extend the head rest. Multiple times I have secured the seatbelt to its slot and when someone takes the back seat they will struggle for a couple seconds before they realise what's going on and finally remove the buckle giving enough clearance. I had a Clio before the Zoe and they solved this issue by sticking a magnet in the roof so that you could neatly attach the third seatbelt buckle to it and avoid having it just dangling around while driving. With that inspiration, I designed this small device you can stick a couple neodymium to and neatly clips onto the interior plastic panel so you can conveniently secure that third seatbelt when not in use and still be able to fully extend that headrest in order to give your passengers a more comfortable ride. No need for any mods - you just clip it in and clip it out without a trace. Printing: I always use ABS for car-related stuff - PLA will almost certainly melt in warmer days It's best to print on one of the sides to best take advantage of the fibre strength. 5 perimeter layers, 15% rectilinear infill The slots were designed for 7mm diameter/2.5mm height cylindrical neodymium magnets.
