Rivian R1S / R1T Dash Phone Mount for magnetic adapter

If Thingiverse "Download All Files" throws 404 error, please click the "Thing Files" button and download the individual STL file.* ###The Rivian R1T and R1S do not have a great way to mount your phone to the dash in high enough position to keep your eyes on the road. This 3D printed part snaps in place between the display in front of the steering wheel and the center panel display. It is customized to let a magnetic phone mount purchased on Amazon slide into it. This mount looks good and is adjustable so that the phone comes up high enough and as close to the dash as possible without touching it. The end result is a clean layout with no sticky tape. Just snap it in place, and if you want to remove it, unsnap it. There is a lot of discussion about this cleaver snap in design at https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/riviparts-cell-phone-ball-mount-pro-1-inch-model.9770/page-4#post-259266 and people making different adapter designs. ####Design Notes: - The remixed part removes the ball and replaces it with the oval adapter that allows you to slide the Amazon purchased part right in. - Some chamfers were added/modified for appearance and to also reduce any sharp edges that touch the Rivian itself. - The Amazon part is a snug tight fit. Do not remove the film covering the sticky adhesive. Just leave that on so the part slides in snuggly. - Please note that snapping the part in is a very snug fit. You may feel like you will break the 3D part, but you can apply the force needed to get the tab behind the center display. My preferred method is to get a butter knife or dinner knife and use that leverage to bend the 3D part tab until you can get it behind the center panel. Cheers! ####Printing Notes: - Part was printed with 0.2mm layer, 5 shells, and 80% infill for strength. - I used Sunlu "PLA Meta" which is a newer filament they came up with that has PLA+ type strength/toughness but prints at a lower temp. I used 180deg and have really liked the results. - Part orientation was with the oval hoop facing skyward, and supports were enabled but there are only a few to support the oval near the middle.
