rod hood support for honda and other cars
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This thing is the part that supports the rod that holds open the hood of a car. It was designed to fit Honda civics but it most likely will fit any other vehicle make. This thing needs to be printed in a semi-flexible material or it will be very difficult to affix to the car engine compartment holder and the rod won't fit comfortably either. I printed it on flexible PLA which is a ok material for this use but it gets softer with engine temperature. It has been in place for the last 5 months with no issues but I hope it will be better if you can get a plastic a little more firm.
