Description

Smart fortwo 450 bottom center console screw replacement. This model has a slightly thicker head then the original, but fits with the original screw caps. Print out both the top and bottom part. In addition you need a standard M6x30 bolt with a standard 10mm hexagon top. Search for "m6x30 hex bolt" for example. As for the assembly, start with the top part (screw head) and push the bolt head in to the hex form. Then screw the bottom part on to the bolt with the completely flat part against the top. The two parts should be put together in the same direction they got printed. You will probably need a flat head screw driver or something flat on one side and a small/thin plier on the other side to screw the parts tightly together. A small cable cutter with thin jaws could also be used. NOTE THAT SCREW REPLACEMENT PROBABLY ONLY WORK WITH THE FIRST GENERATION SMART FORTWO (about 1998-2007).
