Description

*2016-03-18 Updated the hinge protrusions on the cover to add strengthening holes, also reduced height by 1mm to reduce stress on opening.* A replacement driver's side sun visor mirror assembly for a 1998 Toyota Camry. Uses original springs and mirror though it could be modified to not need them. The legs on the back of the cover may need some modification to work smoothly. To remove the original assembly I found it easiest to insert a putty knife from the bottom recess and pry upwards until the attachment clips unhook. They hook over a diamond feature that Appears to be a clear plastic embedded in the foam. Also when removing or inserting the mirror I found it helpful to briefly dip the end of the parts in hot water to make it more malleable.
