Sunvisor Clip Mercedes-Benz w126
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a replacement sunvisor clip for a Mercedes-Benz w126 (S-class 1983-1991). The driver-side clip in my 300SE cracked due to age and overuse, so I set about designing a replacement. This clip is not a perfect replica of the original, but is close enough in appearance (especially once installed) to be noticed by only the most discerning eye. It has been designed to function as per the original, and be easy to print easily. Several revisions of the design were tested, and this was the final and best performer. The model comes with some support features, which have proven successful. I have also provided a 'no support' model if required. I recommend for beige or tan interiors such as mine, where finding a matching filament is difficult, to print the clip in black, as this matches many other trim details in the roof panel (e.g. the centre light cluster).
