Description

Being a taller person, I sit with my seat in the rear most position. This leads to two ugly tracks poking out from under the front seat. The austere interior draws even more attention to the bolt and greasy bits. Worse, that same grease is a magnet for debris from the floor and above. Solution? 3D printed covers that slide in and blend in, keeping the crumbs away from the track and goop. These slide in and won't rattle. They slide out by hand or the seat will push them out going forward. Seat not all the way back but still see tracks? Print full size and trim the back end until it fits or ask your 3D printer to take off the right amount before printing. Why is there a peak and not a smooth arch along the long end? For the less expensive FDM printers the curve is sliced as a flat for the very top/last layer. This will show up as a cross-hatched flat (about 1/16" wide) and the eye goes right to it. The peak will be all 'long-pass grain' and will actually look smoother. Download, print, and enjoy!
