Description

A family member wanted an adapter for their cup holder so that it could hold their 14 oz Yeti Rambler and its hot coffee safe during their morning commute. A lot of the existing designs did not allow for printing without supports or limited how the cup could be oriented. This design hopes to solve that by making it easy to print and easy to place the cup. Designed with a 0.4 mm nozzle in mind with a wall thickness of 4.8 mm. The handle slot number can be increased, but i recommend around 7 as a max. 60degree overhangs max. This model works well for the center console cup holder of a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, but may work well with other cup holders that have a ~70 mm bottom ID, ~80 mm top ID, and a 80 mm height. If you try this print and it works well with your car please let me know and I can add it to the list so others can be aware. IMPORTANT! If you planning on printing these files please be aware of what temperatures can be reached inside your vehicle during the summer months. I would highly recommend printing in PETG rather than PLA.
