Description

Golf III glove box hinge. You need to print 2 of these. They break during time and especially if lid is open often. Attached versions are with supports and no-supports. Made the design based on the original part and there is a spring like part in one end. However if your printer cannot print it well (to make its strong) the spring part does not actually matter becouse the hinge works with or without it. -printing: I used 0.25mm and 25 % infill. More infill = stronger. -installing into car's glove box: a bit tricky 1) I removed glove box it is simple with few screws in easy locations 2) use flat screwdriver to be able insert the hinge to the lid opening (the part with coffee cup holders). I did by inserting the hook-end first through the hole. 3) look for the position where you slightly pull and snap the hinge to the correct place 4) finally insert the "hook end" into glove box holes. DONE and you can drive another 5-10 years hopefully with your Golf III, before renewing these!
