Replacement Steering Wheel Scroll Wheel for Tesla Model S

3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a replacement steering wheel scroll wheel for a Tesla Model S. It seems to fit cars from 2012-2020. I imagine the 2021 yoke steering wheels have something new. It is a common part that fails (the hex breaks off), and they don't sell it individually - just a replacement switch assembly for $$$. I did my best to copy the function of the part and have no access to proprietary dimensions or manufacturing information... The original part has a rubber cover. The printed part is solid plastic, but looks very similar. The critical feature is the 1.7 mm hex on the end. I printed this on a Formlabs Form2 with black resin with resolution set to 25 microns. I have been playing with my printed version for over a month and it is still holding up. I can't promise anything about its durability. When you go to replace it, resist the temptation to try and pry it into place without removing the scroll wheel assembly from the steering wheel. You have to remove & disassemble the scroll wheel assembly (it is just held together with plastic snaps) and insert it gently. I have been considering making it with a hole to glue a wire in for added strength, but it seems unnecessary at this point. Please let me know... With the raft, it consumes 4.4 mL of resin.
