Description

I needed a valve spring compressor to upgrade my valve springs in my B230. This tool is designed to service your valves without having to remove your head. For holding up the valves you can do the rope trick. Or Like I did, use a compression tester, or get a special tool that hooks up to an air compressor and threads into the spark plug hole. Just use air to hold up the valves. As far as the handle goes the design has a 1/2" space to fit a tube in. I used a square tube just to make the drilling easy. For the pivots I just used 2 1/4" hitch pins found at any hardware store. Makes a cheap and simple tool. May even work for other engines but I just designed this for something that's probably only going to be used once and I just wanted something simple. It's also nice because the magnet won't stick to the compressor like my big C clamp style does.
